Getting Started

Get up and running with MCDM in minutes.

1. Installation

Prerequisite

Follow the official Salesforce guide: Salesforce CLI Setup

Terminal
$ sf plugins install sf-mcdm/multi-cloud-data-migrator

2. Authentication

  1. Go to the Connections & Mode section in the UI.
  2. Click the Authorize Org button.
  3. Complete the standard OAuth flow to authorize your Source and Target orgs.

3. Basic Workflow

Select Mode

Choose between Direct, Export, or Import.

Select Orgs

Choose Source and Target orgs.

Select Plan

Choose a Standard, Custom, or Deep Clone plan.

Run

Execute the migration and monitor logs.
